Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the iOS app Camper Calling (“the App”), your festival companion.

Summary

The App works fully offline and does not contain advertising, third-party tracking, or usage-analytics SDKs. To back up your ratings across devices and to show festival organisers which acts were well received, the App stores a small amount of data using Google Firebase. You can use the App without signing in, and you can delete your data at any time from within the App.

Data We Collect

How We Use It

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Data We Do Not Collect

Third-Party Services

The App uses Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Cloud Functions) as a data processor to store and sync the data described above, and offers Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In as optional ways to back up your account. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms. We do not use Firebase Analytics or any advertising SDKs.

Legal Basis (UK/EU GDPR)

Where UK/EU data protection law applies, we rely on your consent for optional demographics (which you can withdraw at any time by clearing them) and on our legitimate interest in providing rating backup/restore and anonymous aggregate insights to festival organisers. You can object to processing or request access, correction, or erasure of your data.

Data Retention & Your Rights

Your ratings and profile are kept while your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Info → Account & Backup → Delete account & data; this removes your ratings, profile, and account from our systems. Signing out simply returns the App to anonymous use. Aggregate statistics that contain no identifying information are retained.

Children’s Privacy

The App can be used without providing any personal information, and demographics are always optional. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, do not run targeted advertising, and do not use third-party ad SDKs. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

Contact

If you have questions about this policy or wish to exercise your data rights, contact the developer at info@ten13.co.uk.
